Hi there,

Today i spoke to a shop-owner (no chain) who claimed i can buy the p800 on contract for 480 euro's if i sign up now... he would deliver me the p800 around 15th january, obviously i am very excited but should i just wait and see what the eventual price will develop or just sign up for it right now? Big dilemma! Please advice...

For the dutch : it's a BEN EXTRA contract extension for 1 year.

If you think the price is right you can buy it.
The only I should do is make the delivery date "hard" , I mean if it's not there on the 15th that you can choose if you still want it or not. Because if he also needs to wait till the official release there might be better deals to get!

I just spoke to :se in the netherlands and they still say that i would not be out before the end of feb in the Netherlands.
And I think the phone is rather cheap since you only get a bonus of 230 euros with the contract you stated.
May I ask wich shop it is ?

It sounds cheap, i know... thats what's making it so hard now to decide... i also mentioned to him that i am a heavy gprs user and it's an extension instead of a new contract, maybe that also lowered the price?

15 januari sounds cool, but almost al shops say they donīt expect the P800 before end januari.

I got a call from Sweden yesterday, my P800 will be here on monday.

850 euro.

Maybe Iīll sell it before the dutch release so I can buy the dutch version.

Just called SE and they said to me that the phones are allready at the distributor, but they could give me no more specific details on the date, only advice was to hold payment till the delivery is actually made...

You mean BEN as an distributer, or do you mean they left the factory and are on their way?? How about the dutch language support?

No, BEN is just the operator, BEN does not handle the distribution of P800. I just mentioned BEN for the bonus they issued which declined the price to 480 euros.

They are allready in stock at the pan-european distributor, that means they allready left the factory. I didn't discuss the Dutch language option, knowing that it would be possible to add later on, it isn't really relevant.

True but my thoughts were that the delay had to do something with the language support? But I could be wrong.

Yeah i was wondering if anyone could tell me if its worth getting a Pre Release P800? I can get it for cheap and wanted to know if there is a big difference between the 2 types? I mean like, is there anything wrong with it, does it not contain same features etc or can i get a new firmware when it is out? Thanks in advance for any help. [addsig]
