does anyone know how much roughly it will cost to take to my service centre and ask them to do this?

Hi AL3X,

What phone would be a good start? as far as i know most Service Centres don't undertake this work as it's not really allowed you would need to use a private Company like Kingmobiles that i know myself and some others on this Forum have used. Cost's are dependant on what phone it is and if you want a unlock and debrand or just debrand but the link below will take you to KingMobiles and tell you all you need to know. They even do a Postal service so if you can't get up to London it can be posted with an approx 48hr turn around.

its a g600, why won't they debrand it if im asking to, cos after all its putting it back to how they made it

If only life was that simple the network that have it branded have paid for it so unfortunately you don't have the right to demand it is debranded by the Service Centre and most won't if any. If you wanted it without branding so much why didn't you buy it Sim free? I would imagine because it was cheaper branded and that's why the Network want you to use there firmware and network and that's how it was made for that Network.

i bought it off ebay and i dont mind the branding apart from o2 have rearranged the standby buttons so the menu cant be accessed while music is playing
