Even though it was raining last night, today it is so hot 32 degrees celcius. Partly cloudy and warm when the sun and the clouds make love. Also having warm westerly winds at 25 km per hour

40 degrees (centigrade) here in Melbourne today and even when the usual southerly change came through it only lowered it to 35 but it soon went back to 38... lovely!
I'm gonna have to come back here someday to live, Melbourne is such a great place and I reckon I still prefer it over Sydney
strange thing today was that walking around town I got asked for directions just once, to Carlton, and thats where I (and my son) was born and bred so that was easy

Yeah I heard about the big heat-wave Australia is currently experiencing on the news the other night. They said nothing about people enjoying it though!
Yeah I prefer Melbourne over Sydney too. Melbourne is my favourite Aussie city.

it seems to be just the band betweem Melbourne and Adelaide as Sydney, Canberra and Tassie aren't experienceing it. Adelaide has it worst though as it rarely gets the benefits of the southerlies from the Antartic
its even better (atmosphere-wise) than usual this w/e in Melbourne 'coz of the Grand prix. Ferarri even have a stand on the south bank of the Yarra
I'll be heading to the qualifying tomorrow... its gonna be great! (and hot!)
