Hi mates. This is worry me. I have opened a new yahoo email address and I keep on getting annonymous emails in my bulk folder from anonnymous people. Some want to make friends and some are looking for serious relationships. I never gave that email to anyone. As I speak now I have 23 of them in my bulk. Okay I attended 6 of them and Iam waiting for the replies. I said the sender must identify himself with pictures location an all relevant documents. The main problem is that they all read like that the sender stopped using that email adress and you are then given a new one to contact him or her with telephone numbers. What is this and what should I do?

It's simple spam, you can set your yahoo email account to filter them and automatically delete them.

Yeah, usually you get more spam the more common (and easy to guess) your email is. So for example, people sending spam could guess esato@yahoo.com really easily. But if it were esatosonyericssonforums9867789882@yahoo.com, well thats a hell of a lot harder to guess, so that person would likely get less spam, unless they handed their email round to anybody who asked.

To stop it, simply set yahoo's spam filters to a higher level of protection. This will mean that any anonymous emails will be deleted straight away.
