I have a t650i and I'm moving to the w890 any minute. I'm sure this is a simple question, and I've searched but I'm not finding the answer! If I have a game file on my memory stick, but it has the little gray key next to it, I cannot get the file off of the memory stick and onto the phone can I? Or transfer it to my PC?

Any thoughts? Thanks so much!

I tried that - both through PC Suite and just in File Transfer mode. Oddly there is no Games folder that comes up. I get all the other folders and can access pretty much everything else - just not my games. What am I missing?

I've checked all the other folders. One game was on the phone when I got it. The other, I bought and downloaded to the memory stick after I got the phone.

I think you can't transfer it to your new phone as the java system file from those games are left in your previous phone system. But if you want to get rid those games off your memory card it could be done with your pc. Go to folder option on your pc and choose to show hidden file and folder. Now go to your memory stick and wipe off everything inside system>ams
cheers...

Well, I suppose that answers part of the question at least. I really didn't want to get it off of the memory card. Ideally I wanted to transfer it. But it sounds like that's not possible.

You should try to look for your game at ipmart forum, if you found the game then it wouldn't be a problem since those games there are for free.
Hope this solve your problem allyn...

That is one cool site. However, I downloaded the link for the game I wanted, and then sent it to my phone (w890) with USB connection, but the game was SUPER tiny on the screen - like the wrong size. Any idea what I am doing wrong? This would be SO cool otherwise.

@allyn
i think you've download the game for the wrong screen resolution or device?
you should look carefuly, there is some threads that have games in specific screensize and phone brand.
Usually it's brand specific first and then the screen resolution, for example you should see that there is Sony Ericsson apps and games thread and then inside you will find at the top row threads are stickies that specificly for some screensize such as 176x220 (K550,K610,W660 and so on) or 240x320 (K800,S500,T650,and your phone i think )
happy searching...

it's possible. Use the java extractor here to extract the jar file to the other folder. You can then install it on the new phone.

I actually found a perfect solution at the IPMart Forum. It was all about the resolution. That site is a great find!

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!
