After extensive searches on T68 sites all over the internet.. believe it or not I haven't been able to find any answers.
How on earth do I upload ringtones to my T68 though the USB data cable I have. I am using 'Handset Manager' by Mobile Action Technologies. This won't read .enf files, and if I open them as .txt files they later come up with an error. So am I supposed to download some other software to upload ringtones to my phone? Also, I've only ever found one site that provides .emf ericsson ringtones (www.t68i.info) are there anymore out there? I have downloaded eMelodyLab, but all that seems to do is play .emf files.. and well, thats about it. |

Probably you did some mistake! The file format from the Emelody is *.emy These files are readable from T68 and other phones. You compose the melody with Emelody lab and then save it as: *.emy. Then you can send it to the phone without using any particular program. Use the right click on the *.emy file and then use the "send to...". This is the way I do it with infrared and I suppose blutooth. I am pretty sure that it is the same using a cable. Hope to help you!

I'm sorry I can't find any of those 'send to..' options. I'm not interested in creating my own ringtones. I managed to find a few online, I opened them in EMelody, and that seems to be about all I can do with it. Does anyone have any other options. The program I use which is supposed ot manage my phonebook, background image, ringtones, etc.. is Handset Manager. |

@bert,
When you install the Ericsson software, you will get a program called Ericsson Phone Settings. This will allow you to set most settings on the phone via the PC. This includes ringtones or melodies. It has a keyboard for you to easily compose melodies, then you can install the melodies on the phone.
If you already have .emy files, you can use MyPicturesR2E to send the file to your phone. This is another feature of MyPictures, it does not only send pictures to the phone, it can send other files as well.
