Hi,
I have recently come across the Sony Ericsson CCR-60 USB Memory Stick Micro Reader. Can anyone provide me with some background info on this item? I am in the States and have never seen or heard of this item before. When was this released? Was this only available to the European market? Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks |

@PK
An off-topic question. Is the computer on your photo an A series Sony Vaio?
It looks just like my A690 that is still going strong as desktop replacement
(since 2005 )

Thanks for the answer anyway. I figured that out only after posting - did not pay attention to the green recycle sign.
Sorry / thanks.
BTW, I bet it is myo Vaio possibly a European version

Thanks for the response PeterKay. I am just a little dismayed because I was looking for a device just like this a year ago and it has only come to my attention now while searching for the CCR-70 (it's successor/replacement). I have never seen this device on the Sony Ericsson US website nor do I recall a press release announcing it and I am usually on top of Sony Ericsson news.
Thanks again. |

Best way to check is to log onto the website and look at press releases and that should tell you what is out

or indeed buy a multi-format USB card reader. That might prove to be a more practical solution given the plethora of memory card types around and SE's gradually abandoning the Memory Stick only policy in recent and future phones.

Seems unnessicarily big for a memory card reader :/
I'd expect them to at least bung a 4GB flash drive in it too or something.
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for. |
