Recently attempted IELTS for my UK final year...got 7 on 10, needed 6 min.
Any of you sat for IELTS or TOEFL? Whats thy score??

It should be 7 in 9.
9 is the highest, 1 is the lowest score.
I got 7.5 twice. One in academic English in 2005 and the other one is in general English last november.

Yeah, 7 in 9...am personally pretty content, but people say it can be improved..heard 8 and 9 band are pretty common these days...

they are not.
9 band is really so high.
Especially for academic English.
I had 9 in listening twice though. But it is so difficult in speaking and writing.
