Hi Kerry,

Great it arrived must be the bargain of the Year with little chance of being beaten, Fring is good if you alreday have a Skype account or want a range of IM messaging options.

I really wouldn't advise bothering with Yahoo Go 3 as it is really slow and always wants to be connected.

For all you settings don't bother with VodaFone go here

https://nokiags.wdsglobal.com/advanced?siteLanguageId=118

You can get everything you need sent from there including setting up your E-Mail accounts. If you don't have a Data Plan and intend only using WiFi then you can go to the Web app and choose options, settings, General and then define your access point as your home router. For Messaging i.e E-Mail select Options, settings scroll to E-mail choose the account then options edit, connection settings and the you have incoming and outgoing and repeat in both setting the Access point. Obviously before dong this make sure you have defined your home router as an access point first.

If you have any questions feel free to ask either in a thread or via PM and I'll try and help if i can.

Marc

Marc, where did you get that Case for yours that you sold?

i'll look into those apps,
just added Virtual Radio to it and it works perfect,
I don't know why my E65 refused to install that !

as soon as I shoved the sim card in it the settings were on there,
ive noticed that 2.5G comes up whats that

it's a nicepone,
Nokia should of added a memory card slot making it easier to add things to the phone, I hate dealing with cables

the screens really big and clear and the keys are alot better then the N95-1,
took ages to get the battery cover off it though

Pete, im sure Nokia can afford to make a alls up like this lmao!

I think they probably don't even know about it! With these 100% automated systems these days, they probably don't even know how much you paid, just that you paid the amount they asked.

Well done though! Definitely good spotting there! Are you going to post us some pictures? (Other than the box!)

@Miss UK

The case that i used was the PDAir flip case although the one i had was just for the standard N95 so took a couple of days to stretch to a perfect fit. I think they have proper N95 8GB ones now and can be found on E-Bay from numerous good sellers like First2Save, babe 1947uk or any with high feedback should be OK, i have never received a fake case yet.

Wow bargain. I thought I did well getting my w960i discounted down to £235.00 handset only from the CPW.

I had to get lumbered with an 18 month contract for my n95 8gb but I do love the phone.

If you txt a lot install rock your mobile sms tones so you can assign individual sms tones and know instantly who's txting.

My firmware is V 15.0.015 11-12-07 RM-320 Nokia N95 (01.01) I think thats the latest as I did an up update when i got it.
Enjoy your cracking deal

Marc, atm im using a golla case these fit all phones,
but im abit scared incase the zip scratches the fascia

I careless dropped the remote control on it earlier but thankfully the phones not suffered any marks "Phew"

do like you cover could do with getting something that covers the whole thing tbh since ive gotta make this phone last a few years now,

I hope some glossy pink or purple fascia's get released for it in the coming months year or so it would look a really nice handset in then, not that it is nice cos it is anyway.

my handsets fw is V 10.0 021 you telling me theres updates for it already?
it's only been out since before Xmas

im noticing when I using Vodafones GPRS it's coming up "3.5g" anyone know what the hecks that is

Hi Miss UK

That is old firmware definitely worth upgrading before you set everything up as it will all be lost and need to be done again after an upgrade. The Flip case only covers the front and back but the phone is not as wide as the case so does protect the sides to some extent.
