Searched both google and forum, with no useful answer.

With W850, does anyone know how to prevent that the light effect fades when playing a song in walkman player? Atm its only there for like 30 secs tops, i prefer it to be there for as long im in walkman mode.

hi

this can be done by applying a patch to your phone. the problem is that im not sure(99%) if there is a patch for this.

at the moment this fading is for saving battery

Hi MaxHeadroom,

this used to be possible with the initial firmware (R1ED001).
Take a look at the workaround here: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=135244#post1823653
Unfortunately, with later firmwares this was no longer possible.
So, unless someone makes a patch, no joy for now.
In the meantime, enjoy longer battery life without continual light effects.

Cheers!
