"MELODIS Corporation today announced the launch of midomi mobile, its music search application for mobile devices.
midomi mobile allows users to search for music by singing, humming or even whistling into their mobile devices. The application accesses midomi’s online user-generated database of songs and uses MELODIS’ patented Multimodal Adaptive Recognition System (MARS) to identify what users are searching for"

I doubt it'll work so great. And besides, if it isn't tied to Gracenote, then there's no way it could be better than TrackID, because Gracenote has the largest song database in the world. |
