imo fake, i would never ever buy anything from asia. rather pay more for it in a local shop, instead of this one

What is the real difference between fakes and originals - if they are pretty much exactly the same, does it matter if i got it and it was fake? |

of course... a cheap copycat ( even it looks tha sme ) doesnt offer the same qulaity ( how could? )
look, its just like chocolates, there are cheaper and more expensive ones. even both are chocolates, they dont offer the same taste

most are around that price - the other one on there is something like 45 USD instead of 41 USD - the sad thing is that i have already bought one before i found out that there are fakes...
It says on the ebay page that they are oem (that means genuine, right?) so when i get it and i call sony if they say it's a fake i should get a refund, right?

yes, oem is generic. well, i dont think u can complaine when u bought it off, especially cos of 24 usd... to be honest, i never buy anything on ebay, i dont trust it. so maybe u should ask around locally, what would cost. u have no chance to test it and now a days u get so many crap, that bit more money, valid recepit ( and that means warranty too ) is much better then this imo...
of course its up to u.
maybe u can ask for it in the accs wanted thread, could be sy has got one for sale here
