Hi all,
Gary has ported GDesk to S60 for a full description of what this app can do in allowing you do to customise your Desktop on your Device i would probably suggest you read the thread in the UIQ right up.
As i have only just set up my Desktop and started playing with it i can't really do it justice myself yet. So far it is working well and i know have 18 apps on my Home screen, as i have currently just removed Best screensnap as it was not allowing me to get a shot with GDesk. So am looking for a previous app i was using that allows a delay between activating and taking a shot. Otherwise i have my batteries charging for a digital Camera and will post a shot as soon as i can.

Nice for S60 users, but this will definitely be a lot more useful on UIQ devices with a touch screen. Let's see about S60 touch when that's out

Hi all,
Well the plug ins don't work currently but it works as a second screen so you don't loose any of your usual S60 functionallity at the same time. I now have an additional option to have 20 shortcuts on the Home screen and here are the screen shots of both GDesk that with one click takes me back to my standard S60 screen.

Hi all,
Just in case any one is interested Gary has been working hard om making GDesk as good as possible for S60 and has released a couple of newer versions that have resolved some of the Plug in problems and is continuing to work on improving the app. Check the GDesk thread over @My Symbian for the latest versions.
