iphone on 3 network? |

heya, im in the UK and want an iphone.
Could an unlocked one work on the 3 network?

I've had too many phones in my life to list! I can't remember some, but i certainly know that in the past 4 years, i've got through about 40.
The shortest time i've had a phone for is... 21 hours. |

No,
It is not a 3G/UMTS/WCDMA handset - and the 3 Network runs only on this type of network.
The iPhone will not work on the 3 Network, which is the reason why Apple have not sold it in Japan heavily - as Japan is majority 3G.

Err you can use it on 3 but it wont be in 3G and will use their GSM network. |

Yeah i use mine on 3 but it roams with orange
It works fine....but mine is one of the later 3 sims not a Usim.

yeah, but wehn u have 3 coverage, u dont roam, so at most places u dont have any rec then, cos imo all uk cities have full 3 coverage, maybe on the countryside is the roaming on
