Hi guys.
I just bought my SonyEricsson P800 one week ago.
But now i have a big problem.
I have dust behind the screen. It was clean when i got and use the protective bag so i dont understand how the dust came there.
Is there anyone else who has this problem?
Thanks

A lot of PDA's have this problem... iPaqs, Clies... etc... This is due to the fact that the touchscreen element is floating over the LCD.
Anyway, I don't know if there's anyway to clean it out yourself... service center might be able to do it.
I installed a screen protector once I got my phone, so most of the dust gets stuck to the edge of the screen protector (since it's adhesive) ... looks dirty just the same, but whenever I change screen protectors... it's as good as new! |

I had no problem with my unit. It could have been your environment.

Greetings!
What kind of screen protector did you use for your P800?
I got a protector for PALM and cut it down to the size of the P800 screen. However, after installing it, I started to experience problems.
When the flip panel is closed, the slightest pressure causes a massive series of key presses that ultimately leads to the phone locking up.
I ended up removing the protector and settling for a naked, unprotected screen. |

Mobile1 in Parksquare... it's byt Brando, I got the one for the iPaq and cut it to fit the P800 screen. I made it larger so that the edges slip under the frame to minimize the sight of edges on the screen...most people don't even know I have a screen protector on my phone and ask me why my screen has less glare than theirs! |

How much did you pay for your protector?
I did exactly the same thing as you did (i.e. let the edges slip under the sides, etc.) but I started getting the problem I described in my previous post so I ended up removing it and crying over wasted money.
Is the Brando protector thin enough so as not to interfere with the operation of the keypad? |
