I have successfully configured my SonyEricsson P1i to receive push mail from my GMail account using GPRS. When I am abroad, I would like to disable the GMail push mail in order to save GPRS cost. Can someone advise me how to do so on my P1i.

Thanks,

Scott

I use IMAP in GMail but unfortunately P1i continues to use GPRS on roaming and ends up huge cost when I see the bill.

can't you just untick the 'enable push' option?
