Hello!

I have now had my P800 some days. Very, very good phone, haven't found any bugs or experienced any crashes yet. Seems rock solid. And blistering fast! I love it (I think

But, I have some small (and some larger) bits causing irritation. (in no particular order)

1: No T9. I don't really, really need it, but those times I only have one hand free, it would have been great...

2: No sms delivery-report. I really miss that!

3: No stopwatch.. It's not often I need it, but for those times I do.. Have seen some java stopwatches. Have to try those.

4: I'm from Norway, and I can't seem to find a way to write æ and ø without using the virtual keyboard.

5: Can't receive Nokia-graphics, like we could on the T68. No big deal, but it was on the T68, and would've been nice to be able to see those.

6: Can't restore just parts of a backup. If I for instance have deleted a contact by accident, I can't restore that one without restoring everything, and this deleting what's been made after the last backup.

7: I would looove to be able to check more imap-folders than the inbox for mail.. Though, haven't seen any other phone being able to do that..

8: On the T68 you could create groups which you use to send sms to. I miss that

9: Profiles. I often have my phone on the desk during classes. Then I don't want to have vibrating on, because that makes lots of noise. But when it's in my pocket, I would like vibrating on...

10: I want my sms-counter back!

11: I did like to see on my T68 how much of the sim-memory was in use, both sms and contacts..

12: When I get a sms, I'd like to see who it's from before I open it. Just like the T68.

13: SMS-folders...

14: Using a gprs account to check e-mail, I check the email. Then I start writing a sms, for instance. After five minutes (or whatever the gprs-timeout is) a box pops up, which I have to click "continue" on, or wait some seconds before I can continue writing. It's annoying!

15: If I try to visit a wap page after checking my e-mail, before the gprs timeout's, it says that I'm connected to the wrong gprs-account, and asks if I want to try to open the page anyway. Which won't work. If the opposite, I have been wapping, and then checks email, it asks if I want to disconnect and reconnect with the other gprs-account. I want that to happen when wapping as well!

16: There seems to be far less voice-control choices on the P800. I haven't been using it much so far, but I'm getting a HCB-30 (Bluetooth car-handsfree), where I will have great use for it..

If someone have any tips for any of these points, I would appreciate that It might just be a feature I haven't found yet. It took me a day before I found that I could move sms' between phone and sim. Though all this, the P800 is probably the far most advanced mobile phone ever made, and so far I can't see any bugs or problems with it at all.

Happy christmas

Regards.

Informative post, this. Where did you get your phone from? And how much did you pay for it?

8: I know that's possible, but it's faster with groups.

I guess that would work, but then I always have to manually disconnect when I want to wap after checking/sending e-mail or sending mms. Btw. I hate this 55 character limit on esato with p800
