Is SE no longer supporting MS PRO DUO? 'Coz all the new phones I see are using either M2/MicroSD. Will they still be releasing phones that has slot for MS Pro Duo?

Quite unlikely, I think it's a step down to incorporate MSPD into upcoming models since there are benefits of using M2, ie less power intensive, space saving (for internal design purposes), etc. That's why I'm extending the use of my P990 and my 8Gb card to the max, probably till the end of the year or once the X1 is out because I might not find any use for it anymore once I upgrade.

Right. Duo is too big for most of the SE handsets.

However, mode is incorrect about power.

ONe of the features of M2 is Dual Voltage. It is backwards compatible to MS PRO Duo (with an adaptor at 3V), yet it also runs at 1.8V within the handset. This saves voltage translation components on the motherboard.

M2 is actually a bit MORE power hungry in the 1.8V range, since it has internal voltage doubling circuitry to support 3V flash memory.

Look for M2 to stay around for quite a while. The X1 is somewhat of an anomoly, since it was done by an ODM instead of at SE. It's not an SE design - subcontracted out.
