Hi!!
I've only had my s500 for about 1-2months.
And well recently I've discovered a problem.
At first I thought it was the 'sound' you can hear when your near computer, tv or speakers (the buzzing noise)
But I just found out, the problem is with the mic, I'm not sure yet.. but could someone confirm.
Well anyways, every time I'm in a call, theres this buzzing sound, just doesn't shut up. When I press on the mic part on the phone, I don't hear it, but the other person on the phone can.
But usually both parties can hear that buzzing noise, its just pissing me off.
I've dropped my phone ONCE, and it had that plastic case on it....
Help would be appreciated.
And if anyone is in Australia, or maybe Sydney.. it would be heaps useful to hear from you, (warranty and stuff)

You can test the mic and speakers in the Service Menu. Press >, *, <, <, *, <, * from the standby screen to enter the menu, that way you will be able to confirm where the fault lies.
It is possible that you have caused a loose connection by dropping the phone. Opening the housing to re-seat the loose component may be the best option.
