The way I see it is, this one will be a 'test dummy' until I can afford a real BB, just to see if I get enough e-mails that I need to read during the day to actually warrant it. I wonder if you can use BB's on P&G, cause I'm not so sure I'd want to give up my beautiful Nokia 5610 as my day phone

Not sure you can use em on PAYG matey.... AFAIK you can only add the Blackberry tariff onto an existing contract.... Unless you start a new contract with a BB plan already

BB isnt just about emails - its an overall package.

It more about the convenience.

And to answer about the P&G - No you cant but you can have a Pay As You Use added to your contract however at £2.75 per mb, go for the £10 unlimited plan.

(p.s - Pay as you go will be available at some point)

Well, I've got a staff tariff so I can have either 75mb of Internet or bb unlimited for free, but I don't want to give up my nokia 5610 yet, so I wanted a separate sim for it. Turns out pay and go simply doesn't support push and pull bb so its not the cost that's an issue really.

Nm, will have to think up some other way of doing it, still want the bb though

Truth is with T-Mobile you can get a free simcard from them on a rolling month contract and add BIS to it, this is what I did to start with and it cost me £15/month, ok I only got 50mins of calls with it, but it was a way in and is as disposable as PAYG!

I have a black 7230

The silver is missing. around the screen, but the battery is fine. So i like it, that was my first blackberry. And i still see people on the tube with it.

This is not the original image of the phone. just added as an example.

No Bluetooth though and actually the 7290 is the up one from this. Has various small modifications, but essentially looks the same.

Cheapest I've seen so far is a 7290 (like the above but with BT as tmagberry just stated) for £25 delivered, anyone care to beat that with anything they may have? It ends at lunchtime on Friday so I'll leave this thread open until then.

Lol, I KNOW! I'm terrible when it comes to commitments and decisions. I'm the guy who literally takes 25 minutes deciding what to get from the Chinese takeaway lol

I've found an unlocked 7290v with a free cradle or holster for £28 delivered, I may just go with that for the sake of it being unlocked and with a free cradle or holster.

I may get that, aaaah, decisions decisions

Well true, but the sellers saying its pretty much unbranded and all stickers are removed and cleaned off I think.

Plus the fact it's unlocked as I was thinking today, if I'm going to get a BB only tariff to use alongside my phone, then it won't matter which network I go with. While O2 would be nice, they won't give me staff discount on BB only tariffs.

And I figured it's only £4 more
