Japanese PS3's have hardware support for PS2 games whereas the UK versions have crappy software support for it.

hm i think the difference is the blu-ray and ps2 games really. ive got a 60gb jap one and its perfect.
got a load of these white ones to clear lol. sold a few for £270 on ebay |

only the Japanese 60gb and 20gb did have hardware b/c

the controllers are dualshock ones as well (heavier)..i got 2 from hk
