samsung g600 imei all zeros ? help ? |

i purchased a samsung g600 on contract 2 months ago and something is puzzling me when i press *#06# on the keypad all i get is 000000 00 000000 /0
i am intrigued as to why my imei number does not come up surely the imei is not all zeros ?
the phone works fine on any uk network
can any one explain this strange situation ??? |

have you been entering codes on it off other sites?

i assume the person enter a code posted on many forums saying it is a unlock not knowing it reset a part of the memory and screw up the imei |
