"Google and Dell are on the point of launching a new mobile phone to run on the Android operating system, probably at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona that’s going on at the moment. Dell have tried to enter the mobile phone market once before but their range of PDAs was a complete flop.

Well, would you buy a Dell phone? Exactly.

Dell have also recently acquired Alienware, the trendiest tech company in the world, an expert in Video, Gaming, and Audio, and a company crying out for a mobile phone.

So here are the first pictures of the Alienware mobile phone!"

to me it looks a lot like a mix of Nokia (and Vertu as well) and Motorola for a younger group of user this model might work...

Hi Boba,

Firstly i really don't think that Dells PDA's were a failure far from it they offered the most advanced hardware the best screens and the lowest prices seen. Alienware have a huge cult following of PC Gamers and for a younger Market that like to stand out from the crowd and all the candy bar and slider phones these could be big. Not least of all forgetting all the Goggle addicts out there waiting for a device that has all the Google apps they want built in to one devcie. If i was 25 or 30 years younger and into Goggle mail and there other apps i may well of found it cool and want one.

Well if you had seen any of there Desktops it's meant to, It's certainly not your usual boring Candy bar or slider that's for sure.

Hmmm... I think this is just an artist's (from dial-a-phone) impression of what it will look like. It is almost entirely based on the look of one of Alienware's computers and no company is going to do that.

Weird. Imagine how hard to use the keypad with the bottom part like that.

That took ZERO creativity! They just took the design of their cases, and viola! A phone!

The designer of the website did this. Did no one read the bottom line on the picture?
