It`s a shame that this phone doesn`t switch itself on when alarm goes off. I mean, if you set alarm to wake you up and turn your phone off, the alarm rings but when you press "yes" phone shuts down again. Stupid, huh?
My second phone, Nokia 6210 gives you an option to switch it off or on when alarm rings... |

So I visit this site and the two most recent lists involve
1) Different coloured covers for the T68
2) An alarm function that some Nokia does but the Ericsson doesn't.
Hmm sometimes I think alot of people on this list would really be happier with a Nokia....
Then there're T9 issues - speed and punctuation....
Hmmm...so maybe Nokia isn't all that bad ?
Why do people slag it off so much ?
There's a magazine here called What Cell-phone http://www.what-cellphone.com/ which did an article on what new phones were on the way (eg 7650 etc). It would seem that although there will be 'better' phones along not many will be as compact as the T68 which for some people (like me) is really important.
While I'm at it, why are the games on a phone so important ? if you want to play games get a game boy !
Sorry for ranting. |

I've never understood this anti-Nokia thing. On balance I still think Nokias are better - I have no bias here - I actually had a PF768 before any Nokias, and the 6150 was a vast improvement on this. Ericssons and Nokias both have their problems, but I find Nokias more logical to use, and the bugs (when they do occur) less annoying.
Just one example - my T68 battery's low. I get one warning while I'm on the phone, then the next warning means timeout - it switches off. I switch back on, then have to wait about a minute before I can call anyone as it won't load the phonebook. Nokias give you ample warning on the battery and you can use the phonebook within seconds. You'd think Ericsson might have fixed this after about 5 years.
Saying that though, one manufacturer always has the best phone of the moment - and at the moment it's the T68. Which is why I have one

Your phone has a problem for sure, because mine T68 gives at least 10 warnings before it shuts down from low battery. As far Nokia phones are concerned, please, don't start the same conversation again. Every phone has its prons & cons! You balance them, if you want a particular brand, then go for it! Don't complaint for everything. Nothing is perfect nor will be!
P.S.
I preffer T68 from present Nokia models!
