Hey,
I have these speakers: Videologic Sirocco
Amazing speakers they really are, had them a few years now.
I have just been listening to music on full whack for about 2-3h and suddenly there was a strange noise and the sub now seems completely dead.
Is there anything I can do?
Just they're great speakers and I have no money at all for new ones (sounds funny but i literally have no money at all lol)
To top it all off i was listening to music because i'm down at the moment...then they stopped working, i thought that's about fu*king right isn't it.
Is it worth me maybe finding a local place to repair it?
Anyone got any decent ones they want to sell cheap lol

You could have popped a fuse in the sub. If you open the sub there should be a crossover board with some biggish resistors on it. There should also be a fuse. See if that has blown.

Would it deff be in the sub?
Because there's 2 speakers
Sub
And a control box
The speakers and sub all plug into the box.
The sub is pure wood, there's no screws on it apart from the speaker bit....maybe it's in the control box?

You think it's maybe in the control box bit cause i might be able to open that.
A local shop wants £15 just to look at it and said by the sounds of it it will cost £50 odd to repair, and if it's any more then he could sell me a new one.
Sad thing is...I havn't even got £15 lmao
