I sent my W810i as it was all messed up, nothing worked. It is still under warranty and I posted it to Sony on 29 January 08.
I phoned two weeks later and they said "they are looking at it".
Phoned three weeks later and "they are awaiting a part".
Has anyone else had this problem with warranty repairs?
I think they hope I give up and get a new one. What spare part can they need in such a small circuit board? Surely they replace parts like for like? I asked the operator to put me through to his supervisor, but the manager was not available, it then took him 12(!) minutes to take my telephone number and issue me with a case ID number!
As you can gather, I'm not very happy with Sony Ericsson repair centre...

I received a call and they offered a replacement because the 'spare part' was a long time coming. The replacement would be sent 'early next week'.
It's now four weeks and several phone calls later; the replacement mobile 'is now out of stock' and they are waiting for delivery. They can't tell me when it was ordered or when it will arrive.
They can't offer me a different model 'because the warranty doesn't allow it' How many more excuses do they have on their list that I have to go through?
Can anyone give and advise?

just go to the repair centre where u sent ur phone and YELL for a replacement
