i test this model atm. if i wanna make a back up on the pc via pc suite, i choose only contacts. then back is starting, contacts are done but the next step is "spesific model backup" or sg like that. it reaches 69% and then it just hangs, was waiting preatty long, but nothing happens, cant even cancel it...
so i just unplug the fone, but after it i alwasy have to turn it off / on, cos otherwise the pc doesnt recognise it. fone has the latest fw. did any of u experineced anything like that?

Hi Boba,
Sorry i have no advice as always sync Contacts and Calendar with Outlook and have never had any issues, I have never used backup and restore and really doubt i ever will.

i didnt ment outlokk, just the traditional fone back up with the pc suite

Hi Boba,
I realised that but as i said i have never used it as it serves no purpose for me as for me everything is stored in either Outlook, My Documents or Pictures or Video's. After either a firmware upgrade or even hard reset i prefer to start as if it is a new devcie which is why i never use backup and restore plus of course the problems some seem to have.

so maybe its a hw bug? cos nect to it all work fine when i send files from pc to fone and the opposite. also the fone doesnt show any other bugs at usage... or its the pc suite itself. i just dont get, whats that fone spesific backup...
