i have the chance to move there to perth for 8 years....
chances are i might not see my grandparents again ...
appart from that what is the place like?

Perth is the one city I have never been too, but everyone I know says its beautiful.
Its also the closest point to UK but its also one of the small population capital cities and so getting work is likely to tough but then for similar reasons its also one of the cheapest parts of Australia to live

I have been to Perth, it's a beatiful city... definately I place I could move to 
Take the chance! You will probably not get the opportunity again! You can always go back to UK once in a while and visit friends and family
