got the MXE-60 Xenon flash for my old W800i and it worked very well with the leds.made great pictures with it,great flash.
when i got the P1i i tried it on it,the phone recognized it but it does not work.... is there a way to make it work?
and if not so i find it very ignorant of SE to her old costumers especially that the P1i got only leds and a bad camera!
It will be also a good lesson to NOT buy their accessories cos they are expansive and no guaranty that you will have use of them in the future

It only works with the earlier SE phones. The newer ones mostly don't work with it, which is a pain, but I don't reckon SE are in a hurry to make a new one.

f**k knows, all I know is they haven't and they won't release a new firmware update for every single FastPort phone since then just to make it work with the MXE-60.
