Right - I've uploaded my photos to Flickr now, the set can be found at:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/marcus_cus/sets/72157603967371098/

We were asked not to take any videos/photos of the X1. It was on display in a locked display cabinet, so no touching.

Met Obakesan (nice seeing you again mate) and Ricky D as well. Missed Masseur and RDZone as well, raincheck dudes?

Enjoy the photos.

i went down there today, had a play around with some phones. not too bad i must say, look forward to their prices when released.

the c902 was a really nice phone felt solid and the camera set up was impressive especially the touch focus.

I have to say that there was something about the W350 (Walkman flip handset) that makes me want to buy it! It had a very simple, retro look to it.

For me though, I think I may well be going for a G900 handset when it's released. The inclusion of UIQ3 in a normal candybar handset is such a great appeal. I feel this will be the hnadset that gets UIQ3 into the mainstream (and some people won't even realise it!)

Glad you all like the pics (I hope all anyway!).

If you mean the black slim, walkman phone whose front flips downto reveal the keypad similar to old ericssons, then i have to agree with ou it was a very nice looking phone and if the price is right i would pick one up because it looked so nice.

As for the G900, when i was using it, i completely forgot about the touch screen, i was just sitting there with the funny d-pad navigation thing and using that, even my friend who was with me who has never used a UIQ device found it really to use, and he even remarked that that will be his next phone.

All in all an impressive line up, and i think that if UIQ does become more mainstream that can only be a good thing, invite more developers and you could have a nice little platform on your phone.
