Is anyone from here likely to be at the  Kensington store on Saturday? I think there's a good chance I'll be there. I'll be the dodgey looking young Chinese gy with a Yorkshire accent trying to steal the X1!

Yeeeeeeaaaaaaah! I think its the 1st weekend in April atm but will let you know.
I wish I was there for the next demo, looks like its gonna be a busy one. You guys should take plenty of sample pics of the new cams and upload them here.

I'll what I can. A few pics and bluetoooth them across to my phone. I'll upload them at full resolution too with comparative shots from my K800i, K850i and LG Viewty. I might be limited in the types of shots though (I won't be able to simulate conditions like a night club for example) but I'll do what I can.

I just got off the phone with the store and the guy said the X1 might not be hands on if it's very busy. They normally start letting people demo from 11am till round about 5pm. Hopefully I'll get a close look at the 5MP options though.

sorry was too busy being shown all the new tricks!
by the way, the new X1 is a beauty!
and the G series is basicly a touchscreen with Cybershot and walkman functions!!!
the new C series is the new cybershot range and the extra functions look great. the C902 can automatically focus on a persons face and puts a box on it to make sure its in focus even if its not in the middle of the screen.
the W890 is just sublime. its video quality is awsome and its just so feature packed for its slim size!!
The W980's front screen (flip closed) has a full walkman menu, just as if the flip was open, and there's an ambient light that glows to the beat of the music!
Very impressed SE. Shame we'll all have to wait till the summer before we get to have a go on a fully operational X1.... But it will be released in October i've been told....
