Istheir any other brand than sony ericcson that supports memory stick as an mem expansion medium.

And which model of SE comes with symbian OS.

Of course there are! Every other phone manufacturer has phones that have a Mem. stick slot.
And the UIQ (Symbian) phones you'd be interested in from SE are P1, W960, G700 and G900. (or maybe even P990 and W950)

You mean i can install symbian application that has extension .sis in the above mentioned phone.

they should be compatible with uiq 3:) (as there are different .sis files for different operating systems,
first you should check your applications and see if they can run on uiq3,
if they cant there are many other uiq 3 .sis free applications, dictionaries etc.

nokia phone support different type of memory expansion slot & sony supports diff which is called Memeory stick. why i want memory stick phone is coz i own a sony vaio that has Memeory stick reader inbuilt using whichi can copy mp3 or other stuff easilly but my laptop doesnt support other cards likeMMC or SD card just memory stick duo.

u cud always buy a card reader.Memory stick pro duo n al those r old now, so its very unlikely that se will revert to it.
