@whybe

yes it does. When i called tmo one of the tech experts said they will eliminate t-zones in near future. from my personal experience this is the first time i had difficulties with settings. I can also say for the price i am not totally sold(happy not excited) as some of the other people have mentioned. maybe i will look towards idou or future x-series without windows mobile.

All bar one of the previous Iphone users have switched to X1s. Also 4 others have also switched from other makes as well.

any indication of when the battery is fully charged when x1 is off? My p990 showed a steady green light.

anyone out there to tell me otherwise why i should not return x1a?

any good apps out there that make this phone shine?

windows mobile has let me down

There are four indicator lights around the X1 indicating it's charging state.

You should definitely return the X1 if you aren't satisfied with it...I would. I don't think there is a magical app only available for X1 that will make you want to stay with X1.

Windows mobile has well documented "flaws" but I think the make or break for any device (outside of it's hardware) should be the quality of available software.

When the phone is fully charged click the battery icon and if it's shown full - it's full. If it's still charging, it's shown with the plug in.

The apps - man, just look at xda-developers.com or freewarepocketoc.net and find something you like.

i hate the x1, i ve had it 4 mths now.. really doin my head nice fone 2 look at but sooo many flaws. plus have it in sliver n it looks like i have had the phone for ages.. wrecked..

when batterys low it, it responds slower and if batterys dead the phone will not switch on untill got enought battery 2 work.

crack underneath volume button

slow to respond

not enough applications

multi taskin rubbish cannot listen 2 music whilst writtin a tx.

could go on.. what is a better phone 2 get???

Sorry but you maybe cannot operate it??
Multitasking is perfect on this.
Just when you want to listen to the music and do other things don't exit media panel OR use WMedia Player.

Not enough applications??!! What a rubbi**h! It has the biggest amount of apps available.
I never ever had my phone slowdown when battery is down.
And it's fairly logical that when battery is out the device does not start, isn't it???!!!

Man....

Just let the battery to run flat and then you'll see what he is talking about. I love my xperia, it is the best phone I have ever owned and by far the phone I have most enjoyed but this issue in unforgivable (i believe it's a WM thing not xperia specific)

Steve Bulmer of Microsoft has proved that hitched its wagon to the wrong horse with the X1..... no surprise to me though!

Courtesy PC Pro Magazine
"Steve Ballmer has tacitly conceded that Windows Mobile 6.5 is no match for the iPhone or Google Android.

Speaking at Microsoft's Public Sector CIO Summit in Redmond, Ballmer was put on the spot by a member of the audience, who questioned the company's mobile phone strategy.

"With platforms like the Google phone and iPhone coming out, it's really tough to continue to stand behind Windows Mobile when our employees are bringing these consumer devices into our environments," Chris Kemp, the CIO of NASA's Ames Research Center said to Ballmer, according to a report on TechFlash.

"I'm wondering what your commitment is to continuing to get newer versions of the operating system in our hands so that we don't have to fight this battle on the ground."

Ballmer admitted the company was falling behind its rivals. "We have a significant release coming this year," he said. "Not the full release we wanted to have this year but we have a significant release coming this year with Windows Mobile 6.5."

"But I think with Windows Mobile 6.5, there will be phones in market this year. We still don't get some of the things that people want on the highest-end phones. Those will come on Windows Mobile 7 next year.

I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot.

Had mine since October.
Ive had my ups and downs with it in that time, but now i wouldnt swap it for anything else on the market, at the moment.

I still feel that this phone has not reached its full potential, yet.
I dont know whether SE will ever manage to finish the X1, in time, but with the help of the XDA devs, i think theres a lot this phone still has to give.

No regrets about buying the X1.
