@trance
Nice. that's the one I want, I find silver ugly in comparison. Black is my color
For you and everyne else who's got it:
Tell us more about UI speed, stabiliy, battery performance (in a few days naturaly). everything that can't be find in spec sheet, but important. |

I have to agree with Boinng on this one. Isolating just the hardware the X1 right now is hard to beat, if not the best if it's a keyboard that is required. The G1 is still undercooked both hardware and software wise. The Touch Pro is the closest competitor to the X1 based on specs and while it might just lose out to the X1 on hardware I think it comfortably beats it on software (out-of-the-box). X-panels should have been a lot better as the concept is sound but poorly implemented. SE just havn't done much in terms of customising WM when they so easily could have (though I suppose time constraints havn't helped). That being said, if SE do invest more time into additional panels it could actually be very good.
If you don't need a keyboard then I reckon the Touch HD will be an overall better device when its available come november. Also, there is talk of a new HTC device imminent that makes the Touch HD look weak if M-R is to be believed. I shall be waiting for further info on that device as I have a feeling it could well be the device I have been waiting for since '02! |

Actually the new HTC device is almost the same as the TOuch HD except that (T8290) one has wimax support but no hsdpa.
Man, Htc is on the roll right now

The RF component layout of the xperia is the best I have seen, I wonder if it is S.E design or HTC but whichever it is A+ and carefully and methodically thought out, So my wait is justified.
I probably would keep my Xperia for a while till mid next year, I would love to see Android successfully ported to this device and that will be my project, Writing the panels are quite easy, But dont give you the flexibility to adress the hardware, With Android theres is huge potential,
