Hi guys,

I was wondering about the filesize of a file that can be downloaded with the K850i. I tried it and I was able to download files up to 4 MB, but after that it does not work anymore. Anything bigger than 5 does not download anymore.
How to change that and where?...

I hope its possible at all. I dont think its a restriction of the provider, because I was able to download files double that size with the same sim but by using a M600i.

Any ideas?

Oh and, I do have enough memory on the memory stick.

Most probably down to the network you're on and if you are on contract or paygo.

I made a thread based on the NetFront browser - the default in the K850i (and K700, K750, W810, W800, w600, etc etc). There is a limit to the memory space it uses - different versions have different memory space.

K850i has 3MB of memory to use when caching sites. I'm VERY surprised you were able to download 4MB actually.

* Clear Cookies & Cache in the built-in browser.
* Host a file on a VERY fast & reliable site to download & test.
* Try using opera mini to see if any restritions.

PS what the HELL do you want to download a 4MB+ file to your phone for??? Rave mix?
