Hello all!

I upgraded to a SE K850i in November last year and absolutely love it to bits but recently a few strange things have been happening. About a month ago the phone started turning itself off randomly, even on a full battery. As well, sometimes when I took it off charge the charging indicator would remain and the battery would only last a day on standby.

Only a few days ago it started to do the strangest thing. I'll try to word it as best I can but it's a bit tricky.

I use predictive text when texting because I find it a lot easier and efficient. When I press the number 8 button to get a "T", "U", or a "V" it gives me the letter and then continues to the bit where it asks me who to send the message to. The number 8 button is acting like the select button! The middle touchscreen area that normally acts as the select button is completely dead - doesn't respond to anything. As well as that, the down key sometimes acts as the select key too.

At the moment it's extremely difficult to do anything. Just to get into the messaging area I have to press the "Shortcut" button, scroll down to "Main Menu", press "8" (or if I'm unlucky when scrolling down it'll decide to select the first entry) and then press the number associated to the individual area e.g. "5" = messaging.

I hope you can understand the above, it's completely bizarre.

One other thing, whenever I start my phone I'm presented with "Note: all content on memory card will be lost. Format anyway?"

Any ideas?!?!

Regards.

I had this problem, i think it's because i formatted the card on windows, if you reformate via the phone then all should be okay.
