Hello
I have the swedish version CDA 162024/78 R6A. It's an old firmware but I can't upgrade since SEUS says it's the latest one. If I instead put in GW1, will I still be able to use swedish language? I mean, is swedish supported in GW1?

Thx in advance

Yeah, all the languages are included - and the phone deletes all the language packs except the one you choose (and english) on the first boot. If you want others, download the language files from SE's web.

...btw - does anyone else keep expecting that the next upgrade won't actually fix anything useful? That it will still only be possible to paste 300 characters into an Opera text- field - or that undo/redo will still be as useless as before, that kind of thing? Or is that just me?

Um, what next update ?

(I mean, that's a big assumption to make. SE have their new UIQ phones out...the P1i is no doubt deemed 'stable' and not in need of further fixing.)

Correct me if I'm wrong

Yup there has to be one more

the last one will be called R1P001

edit - kidding here, I meant it would end with the serial number 1, for P1i

"P001"

I would like to see the cam mode indicator fix ('4' button) and a contacts search a la P990.

If SE's way to keep me "hot" for their products is checkig online for new FW, just to fix a banal "4" bug that was introduced with the previous FW, they got it wrong. I'll think hard and long about my next business phone, which is shame, because I always thought SE is on top with their product. Now, the competition is growing, and windows for mobile offers unparraleled business functionality, so SE should reconsider thei atitude towards final users of their product...

Do you REALLY think they give a damn? They proved it again and again they don't care if YOU buy one or not. That's why they went out of business in the 1st place, anyway.

I, too, am unhappy about SE's disinterest, but a Nokia phone? Come on..

With Nokia, you pay a considerable amount of money and get a WLAN phone (I have to give credit, at least a working one) but browse the Web without a touch screen? With large, ugly fonts? Bulky form factor?

No, at least not with the current models.
