Ok folks, how are you? I am in the USA and found a site in italy that ships to my country, the p800. It is around 870 USD shipped, and thats a good price, but still alot of $$. Should i go for it? Or just get the gd87 which is around 550 USD. I dont know if ill be happy with the p800 because as a 'phone' it may be harder to use, bigger, etc...but again it may be a good thing. Is it practical? Will i be fine with it? Is that a good price? Should i just go with the 'easier' flip regular phone for now? thanks for your help! |

P800 OR GD87? If you don't need the PDA functions, go for the panasonic.

I believe that you canīt compare P800 and GD87!!
P800 has everything you could wish, and it will come more things to it!!
But do you have a lot of money?? And if it donīt bother you that the P800 is a bit larger than other phones.. Then you donīt need to think about it..

I was in your position. I believe that the bottom line for a mobile phone is its size & weight. I am not saying that P800 is not worth these money. The problem is that after the passage of some months P800 it might be ok feature wise for me, but it will still be HUGE. This is the reason for not having PDA. I like compact things with as much features as possible.
I purchased GD87. It is awasome phone. Not smart phone, but for sure it is very good. I love it. |

I have actualy one GD87 great mobile, small, light, no bugs, fast, incredible screen, not PDA size, so it depends of your needs, Iīll get one P800 someday cause I travel a lot and need a pda type of phone for profesional reasons, if I can keep my GD87 I will anyhow. |
