The shutter button and the take picture softkey on K850? |

hello.. I've been looking everywhere but can't seem to find the answer to this...
Does anyone know the difference between:
taking a photo by half pressing the normal shutter key till it focuses then fully depress to take the shot.
Pressing the middle softkey which makes the camera auto focus but without ever notifying with the green square then the picture is taken.
Because I found that by using the soft key I can greatly reduce the camera shake however I am not sure if that is allowing the phone to focus properly.
Can anyone advice on this, thanks!

I think it doesn't focus properly. At least, that's what I've observed on my K810. |

Thanks for the reply
But is the difference significant ? Because since I am wondering this I've obviously tried it as well and to be honest I can't really tell.
It might be that my hand shake in the ones I took using the normal shutter key is so bad that I can't tell the difference..
anyway.. if it really can't take proper pictures then makes you wonder what is the reason for having that function taking up a key then....

The soft key is just a shortcut, so you dont have to press in two steps. The picture is taken the moment the lens focus, so the green square doesn't have time to appear. IMO |

ahh... so it does focus properly then ?
No offence to NightBlade and oracle86 , thank you for your inputs I appreciate it very much.
But can anyone else post your experiance with regards to this?
I've just tried looking through the manual but it doesn't mention this at all..

No difference at all. Just depend on you. But one thing 1 noticed that if you are using the Shutter Key, and the object isn't being focused then no green box will appear and it will let you change ur camera position to focus it again. But if you use the soft key, then the pic will be captured whether it's focused or not.
Sorry for my english. |
