Just to make all UK users aware, T-Mobile UK has increased to maximum file download size from 3.5kb's to approx 50kb's. This will now allow you to download almost every ringtone, theme, game of picture available through WAP. This is NOT just limited to SonyEricsson handsets. Should you use WAP over GPRS which has recently been released, it goes like a bat out of hell!!!!!!!!

First of all, you cant realy complain about charges for a service your not really supposed to be using, knowing full well you dont know the calls charges. If you check your T&C's of service, you will actually find that it advises you that a credit limit will be set, an inconvenience I know coz ive been there myself, but think of how much your bill would havebeen should they not have suspended your servcie for reaching your credit limit. Your picture messages can be found on your invoice and will be incorporated within your txt itemisation. T-mobile now offers a 10MB package for £20, so give them a call and give it some hammer my son!!!
Hope this helps

so wot i gues u work for T-Mobile?
Yea I know GPRS is not lauched yet oficially but I was havin trouble with Picture messaging coz i changed my number and GPRS stopped working. The phone would say 'GPRS Network Busy' / 'GPRS Failed'
Even the tech support couldnt fix it, but it fixed itself when my new bill was printed. I was advised to try and use it everyso often and also to try send picture msgs to myself and ring them so they could replicate the problem and see if they could fix it themselves. I was just curious messing round with the GPRS afterwards unfortunately!
I stil aint convinced theyr good..even when they were 121 I found their sound quality crap, even now if it aint 4 bars+ then u get hissing and whisperin noises and the sound fades in an out!
Was it true that 121 never made a profit?
I remember people used 2 snub them...kinda like the council tenants network! hehe
What i wouldnt pay to be back on Everyday 50 on Orange! Shame they stopped it. The 1p a min for local calls couldnt be beaten
But hey im stuck with them till july..think il go back with O2! |

gprs on o2 isnt anything to shout about. I dont find it much more reliable than conventional dialup, and as soon as i want to download a large file via gprs the phone dies. Using it on voda doesnt cause the same problem, so it must be o2

well i dont think im too keen on GPRS anyways!
I only wanted 2 go back 2 O2 as I have been satisfied with them before and I make alot of off-peak land line calls and they only charge 2p/min for them rather than 10p with Orange and 5p Twat-Mobile.
I have no use for GPRS as I would use it thru my laptop but its 2 xpensive and by my amateur web tests, it is comparable to a 33.6kbps Modem. My dial up is more reliable and stable thanks! |
