I have call waiting active.
During a call today i recieve another incoming call (call waiting beeps) i look at screen to see who caller is, decide not to answer it and continue original conversation. However on returning k850 to my ear i must have touched the centre touch screen button with my ear and selected the second caller. Not realising this i continue my original conversation, fortunately not saying anything untoward. Oh so lucky!
Obviously i can deactivate call waiting but it is very usefull at times.
Keylocking the phone would solve as well but i didnt have to do this with my k800 so why with the "new improved k850" HELP!!

How can i be more careful. The phone is designed to be placed against your ear. The touch screen should be deactivated during a call.
Dont make excuses for poor design.

How is this a serious problem? Its annoying yes, but but doesnt classify as serious. And I have never activated the touch buttons during a call, I was worried about it happening, but it never does.

Why should I make excuses for poor design? I don't work for SE, do I?

@aaad3

its well known problem,that k850 jumps to menu during call.Again its design flaw,which has already been complained by many at esato.Well nothing can be done.Next time be sure and stay clear of such faulty designs phones.IF u have read about this and all the other problems of k850i on esato before getting one.U wouldn't have purchased it.
K700- W800- [W810]- W200-[ P990]=[Current].

One expert at esato that never lets u down
