@miss uk - Looks like a NEW one . . . but basing it on the MODEL # (D520), looks like it's features are far more INFERIOR than what the D600 have(whatyahad before . . .) [addsig]

@miss uk - Ohhhh . . . OK. So there's an UPGRADE of the D600 now If there is, I am assuming that it is already water-proof [addsig]

Same here (Whooo, another ex-Link employee! ), I sold one to my brothers girlfriend when they first got together, and that was about June 2006 time. Cracking little phone though.

It was a 'The Link' exclusive, possibly why you didn't see much of it.

Just a 1.3MP camera, 176x220 display, and basically all the features of the D500, just in a nice slim easy to use case. The main keypad (the bits you see when its closed) were usefull as they flashed every few seconds as a signal indicator (like Samsungs of old!) and when you get a missed call or a text, flash continuously, something alot of modern phones lack (other than 6300, 5300 etc. which flash intermittently).

One of the few that Virgin bought then. T-Mobile, Three, O2 (obviously) and Card Factory (yes, the birthday card shop!) bought the other shops.

I think at the time it launched at like £179.99, coming down to around £100 before discontinuation.

I was still quite amazed to see that Virgin Mobile and Holidays exist inside Zavvi (Virgin Megastore).. but yes, Virgin replaced the Link up Merryhill...

The phone looks ok,
but cos I never knew about it I guess it wasn't amazing or anything
