According to Ixalon of sn-nse admin:
We're finalising our big move to the new servers today. During the next few minutes the forums, gallery, wiki and download sections will enter read-only mode and new user registrations will be disabled on our old server.

It has already been moved now, now all that's needed is some stuff with the DSN registration, afaik.
But some more stuff is cooking....

Yep, just add the two lines to your Windows hosts file and flush the DNS in command line. Should work.

could you guide m e on this??
For Windows users:
1. Open up notepad, go to File->Open and enter the following:
%windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
2. Add the following lines to the bottom of the file:
74.52.191.243 forums.se-nse.net
74.52.191.243 www.se-nse.net
3. Save the file, open a DOS command window (Run cmd.exe) and enter the following command:
ipconfig /flushdns
4. Press return, close the command window and your browser.
5. Re-open your browser and visit www.se-nse.net. You should now be on the new server.
on #2,how do i add lines?? i've just paste it under the file i've opened(is this right???) that's bottom??
and at no#4 where is the command return there?? i dont see any...
thanks.. |

Add the two lines under the line called "local"
The fourth basically means that you should close the window once DNS has been flushed
