Anyone see this on Monday it was on Sky One. Download it, watch it on google whatever but watch it. Cracking series!!!

I love documentaries on Iraq/Afghanistan, especially these types. They are up close and real.

Plus it gives our boys some recognition which is long overdue!!!

If he doesn't win an award for this, there is something seriously wrong with TV!!

Along with Harry Hill's TV Burp, Al Murrays Happy Hour and Top Gear, it's one of the VERY best.

Well I dont know about those other titles you mentioned as they dont really fall into the documentary genre he won it for this year, but good shows in their own right.

Yeah, i wasn't linking them as the same genre, just saying they are brilliant programmes in there intended genres.

But that Ross Kemp is excellent. I like the Gang ones he did before aswell.

Series one of the Gangs series is out on DVD on Monday i think.

I hope this brings the whole issue of the way our troops are expected to perform in almost impossible circumstances. Lets not forget they are protecting our freedoms

What has Ross Kemp got to do with Afghanistan. Why cheapen an excellent documentary by getting a washed-up soap star on board to pull in a few extra viewers.

My sentiments exactly. The fact that he's on it actually stopped me from tuning in.

I've only watched it once. He puts me off. Otherwise, an excellant insight into what really goes on over there, as well as a good look the lives of people who think £16,000 a year is worth dying for.

It's quite a good documentary. Why are they there anyway? Who said Bin Laden is in Afganistan, why can he not be found when we can get pics of bloody Pluto and Jupiter millions of miles away? There is no evidence that the twin towers was done by Muslims except for Bin Laden's word. Every Muslim knows that suicide is not part of the religion so those who bomb should not be regarded as Muslim. The only time where they can fight is if they are oppressed i.e. Gaza but no civilians can ever be killed. From a British point of view, what a waste of soldiers fighting America's battles. Here they come back dead or disabled with the gov not willing to pay, no heros welcome and a very bleak future for soldiers and their families. Sorry to rant but why send people to die without reason?

Totally agree, there is no valid reason why they should be in Afghanistan anyway! Its all a load of politics, also same in Iraq, no WMD's but Bush felt like finishing off what his father couldn't.

Can't wait for the day of Judgement
