You haven't got a dentist!
You'll be very very lucky to get one on the NHS now alot of people are going private.
Just be patient and keep ringing around sure something will turn up soon enough.

I struggled near me, and ended up joining the denplan scheme at the local dentist.

You make an appointment where they asses your teeth, if you need any work doing, it has to be done first, then then put your teeth into a grade, and each grade, you pay a certain amount each month.
Mine is around £12.50 a month, and then if you need any work doing you dont pay a penny, except for lab fees if you need a crown making.

If you need something doing urgently, and your not registered with anybody, your local health authority/GP will provide you with a contact number for the dental service in your local hospital, where you should be able to get in ASAP
