During March 2002 CeBIT exhibition, Sony Ericsson presented first series of co-branded phone, including Ericsson designed T68i and Sony designed Z700. With 256 colours display, Java game and built-in bluetooth, Z700 was one of the most appreciated phones. However, 22 July, Sony Ericsson Hong Kong admitted SE decided to stop the production of Z700, all around the world. Say goodbye to Z700, say goodbye to Sony European GSM phone! Official statement has not released, but you cannot find any Z700 information from Sony Ericsson homepage! |

I believe they thought that it would be a better idea to release the z700 as the t68i succesor with some improvements they might have been testing during this year(the 65k screen and maybe memory stick duo)
