k800 no sound in the earphone |

I have flashed my k800 to k810...everything went great...but now I have very poor sound on earphone...the volume is at max, but the voice is very low, I can barely hear it... Any ideas?!?  |

what firmware did you flash your phone with?

I've tried to go back to k800...worked...but still no sound in the earphone. Now I'm back to k810...and clueless... |

Sounds more like a hardware problem, something unconnected with the flashing. If you feel confident enough to do it, take the phone apart and see if the contact prongs on the speaker (it's in the front housing) and in the right position, and give everything a clean, get rid of any dust etc. that may have accumulated.
If that doesn't fix it, replacement ear speakers are only a couple of quid off Ebay

Sammy_boy, the thing is that there is a little bit of sound, but not enough for a normal conversation...i've done the test of the earphone (in the "secret menu" ) and there is a little bit of sound...but very weak. I'm not sure (yet) that I want to open myself the phone and clean it...  |

oh..well...i'm gonna play a little bit with the sound drivers...if it's not working...i'm gonna play with a screwdriver...

did you hit the phone while you were flashing it? the ear speaker cant stop working out the blue!

Great! Now I have to look for tools and info on how to open the case of my phone... I'm so happy...

well, we're humans and we can make mistakes, cant we?
i think you will have to take your phone apart as when you flashed your phone back with the k800, the sound didnt work.

Actually i think you might need to change the loud speaker or try uploading accoustics to your phone. |

changing the acoustic, i think, wont work. he did flash his phone back to k800 and it didnt work.

Funny thing, when i had flashed my K800 to K810, my earphones didnt work neither.
Dont know what i did after that, i think i restarted the phone and they worked..

I did open my phone, but only the lens cover...got scared and put it back...and then...surprise: IT'S WORKING!!!  |
