K800i stuck pixels |

Hi,
I bought a K800i on 29th December from a well known UK phone retailer. On close inspection, I noticed 3 stuck pixels on the LCD screen (a friend could see them too so it's not my eyesight!). The pixels are bright but very tiny and can only easily be seen at certain angles with a pure black background.
A couple of days later I took the (unused) phone back to the shop, hoping for an exchange. The assistant spent a couple of minutes looking and said he couldn't see a problem . A week or so after that I tried another branch with the same result (this time the manager couldn't see the problem either). On a related note, despite being kept unused and in its box, the phone now has some dust between the screen and lens!
Where do I go from here? Can I send my phone to an SE service centre myself? Am I mad?! Please help!
Thanks in advance,
Rob

Yes, you should take it to a SE service center. |

Try this:
http://www.jscreenfix.com/
or
http://www.psp-vault.com/Article168.psp
Good luck!
P.S. I have used it for Nokia N95 but no luck. They had to replace the screen. But in some cases it works. Try to use it as long as possible.
This one I haven't tried:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/stucksweep

Thanks for the replies.
@NightBlade: Sounds like a good idea but how can I find my nearest service centre?
@kenoby: I have already tried jscreenfix . The trouble is, the phone turns off the backlight and then the LCD after a few moments. I emailed the author of the program to highlight this problem (somewhere on SE's developer site there is some Java code to keep the screen awake - the email included a link to that thread) when using the application on my K750i and never received a reply... |

You can try the video from the psp vault.
Here is some info on the screensaver and the backlight if you are into coding:

Maybe the link from the sourceforge is useful.
