Right... I have a Sony Ericsson K800i and i would like to know if i can put the camera light on permanently like a torch. Not had the phone for long but on previous phones it had a light on it.

you cant turn on the xenon flash for a long period of time
you can always find one if you know where to look

No you would prob burn the flash, but there is a application named "torch" that uses the AF LED as a lightsource.
Just search for "K800i application torch" on google.com

but i think you cant use the torch application and the camera at the same time

Thats probably true, dont remember if i tried but as the camera uses the AF LED when it focuses on dark spots it shouldnt work..
Maybe if you mod the driver to switch of AF LED completely?

nope you cant use the camera with the torch on...
but i guess the program "torch" opens its custom camera application....
