But what's the best kind to get, looking around there's different ones from different countries etc, don't want to pay too much...i'm poor

Reality absinthe isn't French...
The French are the only people that can make proper absinthe... (well and the French Swiss)...
La Fee make damn good absinthe...
While we're on the subject... if you like absinthe, get your mitts on some Irish Poteen......
also also.. how do you take your absinthe? every bar round here that sells it gives it you in a shot glass.. it annoys me! you're supposed to dilute it with water (and sugar if you wish)..... GRRRRR
that stuff that taz666 has suggested is from the Tunel coloured range,

that's because it's banned...
you won't track down 80% in the UK.. you might get some from the channel islands that will ship it to mainland...

it's only 80% etc..
afaik it's due to the fact it contains too much thujone.. has a bad effect on the body!

its burns! well, sorta, thats coz the last time i had it after, after the bar tender lit it on fire, i didnt suck up the fumes, i just drank it

yer agree with fatreg on that one, my mate thought i was being tight giving him a normal shot so he poured more in the glass and necked it ran outside and puked his guts up, its good stuff.
